MRS. HALLENBECK DEAD.
Mrs. Jennie Hallenbeck, 60, died at 4 o'clock Monday morning at her home, seven miles south of Tonganoxie and near Six Corners. Apoplexy caused the death. Mrs. Hallenbeck suffered a stroke Sunday and was found unconscious on the kit-chen floor by one of her sons.
Mrs. Hallenbeck, daughter of the late John Spray, was born and reared on the Robert Sechrest farm, one mile north of Tonganoxie and had lived in that community all her life.
She was a member of the Pythian Sisters.
Besides the husband, Arthur Hallenbeck, two daughters, Mrs. Grace Crabb, Linwood, and Mrs. Mildred Sproul, Kansas City, Kans., and three sons, Claude of Linwood, and Chas. and George of the home survive her.
Funeral services were held at the home at 2 o'clock Wednesday after-noon. Interment was in Memorial cemetery, Lawrence.
