Mary Margaret Hoff

Mary Margaret Hoff, 87, passed away on Oct. 5, 2004.

Born in Grayson County, Ky., Margaret had been an area resident for most of her life. Formerly a member of St. Mary's Parish in Akron, she currently be longed to St. Eugene's. Other memberships included the Ralph Huff V.F.W. Auxiliary and the Society of the Blind.

Preceded in death by her husband, Dennis; her sisters, Francis Young and Elizabeth Hoppes; brothers, Edward and Louis Harned, she is survived by daughters, Jackie Sallmayer of Cuyahoga Falls, Margee (Lynn) Brannon of Mesa, Ariz.; sisters, Anna Applegate of Clarksville, Ind., Rita (Charles "Red") Reeves of Akron, and Christina Miller of Jeffersonville, Ind.; brother, Joseph Harned of Lou isville, Ky.; grandchildren, Dennis Sallmayer, Erica (Gordon) Biggs, and Kent Brannon.

Calling hours will be on Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Dunn- Quigley, Ciriello & Carr Falls Chapel (Portage Trail at Eighth Street). Mass of Christian Burial will be on Saturday at 10 a.m. at St. Eugene's Catholic Church. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Vision Support Services (formerly Society of the Blind), 325 E. Market, Ak ron, Ohio 44304.
