Ottis Glenn Hosch, 58, of Athens, died in a Dallas hospital Thursday morning after a brief illness.

He was a retired carpenter. Born in Camp Springs, he had lived in Athens and Henderson County most of his life.

Funeral service were held at 2 pm Friday in Hassell and Foster Chapel with the Rev. John Fuller officiating, and burial was in Davis Cemetery.

Mr. Hosch is survived by four sons, J T of Fletcher, Okla., David of Wichita Falls, Billy Ray and Charles Glenn both of Athens; four daughters, Mrs. Helen Partin of Houston, Mrs. Norma Jean Anderson and Miss Carolyn Hosch, both of Athens, and Mrs. Melva Dean Grisson of Dallas; three brothers L J of Gladewater, Roy of Athens, Paul of Dallas; two sisters, Mrs. Jim Warren of Gladewater and Mrs. Allie Mae Kirk of Athens, and 12 grandchildren.
