Funeral services for L.H. Hosch, who died Monday morning at 6:30 o'clock at his home six and one-half miles south of Athens on the Palestine highway, were held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Virginia Hill Tabernacle.
The services were conducted by the Rev. U.A. Massey of Gladewater and the Rev. T.F. Ford of Kilgore. Interment was in the Davis graveyard.
Pallbearers were G.H. Turner, Albert McCool, George Stone, Ray Paulk, Dolph Wilson and Bill Miller.
Surviving Mr. Hosch are his wife and one son, Luther Hosch of Athens; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. L.S. Hosch of Gladewater; five brothers, Roy W. Hosch of Karnack, Rev. L.J. Hosch of McLeod, N.A. Hosch, Paul E. Hosch and O.G. Hosch, all of Gladewater; two sisters, Mrs. Jim Warren of Gladewater and Mrs. Lee Kirk of near Athens.
Mr. Hosch had been a resident of Henderson county for twenty-five years, and at the time of his death was operating a store and filling station near Koon Kreek. He had been in ill health for some time and seriously ill for ten days.
