HALIFAX - Mrs. Gertrude I. Lenker, 82, of Halifax RD 3, died Wednesday, January 5 at the the home of her daughter, Mrs. Mildred Roush, with whom she lived.

She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church and Sunday School, Fisherville.

Surviving are five sons, Herbert, of Harrisburg, Raymond and Clayton, both of Halifax RD 3, and Albert, and Charles, Jr., both of Millersburg; four other daughters, Mrs. Alverta Miller and Mrs. Verna Snyder, both of Halifax RD, and Mrs. Dorothy Underkoffler and Mrs. Bernice Patton, both of Millersburg RD; a sister, Mrs. Lillie Schreiber, of Millersburg RD, six stepsisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Raho and Mrs. Myrtle Schindler, both of Tower City, Mrs. Martha Diakow and Mrs. Evelyn Hunter, both of Lykens, Mrs. Margaret Ressler, of Wiconisco, and Mrs. Mildred Olsen, of Tampa, Fla.; five stepbrothers, Stanley and Philip Klinger, both of Lykens, James Klinger, of Tower City, and Henry and George Klinger, 31 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren.

Services were held Saturday, January 8 at the Reinhard Funeral Home, Millersburg. The Revs. Michael & Deborah Maul officiated. Burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery, Millersburg.
