She was born May 3, 1934 in Dauphin County PA, daughter of the late Charles and Gertrude (Rothermel) Lenker.
She was the widow of George A. Snyder.
She was a member and participated in the women's group of the Word of Life Chapel of Powell's Valley, Halifax. She enjoyed cross stitching, bird watching, adult color penciling and spending time with her grandchildren. Verna was a devout Christian and read Bible verses every day.
Survivors include her 4 children, Dennis Snyder, Timothy Snyder, Jeffrey Snyder and Patty Mechling; 13 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.
There will be a viewing at her church on Friday, August 10th, 2018 from 9-10 AM. Funeral Services will start at 10 AM with Rev. Robert Baer officiating. Burial will follow the service at Riverview Memorial Gardens, Halifax.
