Margaret S. Ressler, 83, of Wiconisco, died Saturday, Aug. 6, at Community General Osteopathic Hospital, Harrisburg.

Born in Lykens, she was a daughter of the late Phillip and Elizabeth Tschopp Klinger.

She had retired as a seamstress from the former Wiconisco Dress Co.

She was a long-standing member of First Baptist Church, Lykens.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lamar R. Ressler Sr.; an infant daughter, Linda Lou; 13 brothers and sisters.

Surviving are two daughters, Louella Stover and Peggy A. March, both of Wiconisco; five sons, Wayne D. of New Oxford, Lamar R. Jr. and Dondi E., both of Lykens, Terry L. of Carsonville, and Shane Sr. of Wiconisco; three sisters, Elizabeth Reho of Tower City, Mildred Griffin of Indiana, and Evelyn Hunter of Lykens; 13 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 10, from John R. Shultz Funeral Home, Lykens. The Rev. Carl E. Slough will officiate. A viewing will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of the services at the funeral home. Interment will be in Calvary United Methodist Cemetery. John R. Shultz Funeral Home, Lykens, is in charge of arrangements.
