A. CURTIS BLACKWELL Curt peacefully left us on October 30, 2006, at the age of 82. Born in Hendersonville, NC. Curt and his wife Shelia moved to West Palm Beach in 1949. He was an Army World War II veteran serving in the South Pacific where He received the American Service, Good Conduct, Asiatic Pacific Service, and World War II Victory medals. He is survived by his wife of sixty years, Shelia; his children, Neva Blackwell, Timothy wife Margo, Nancy husband Terry Cook, Curtis wife Jill; grandchildren, Michelle husband Ethan Baker, grandson Timothy Curtis Blackwell Jr., and the joy of his life, five beautiful great grand daughters, Hannah, Lily, Madison, Katie, and Alli; three brothers, L.B., Segal and Dan Blackwell all of Hendersonville, NC. Curt lived his life in front of his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, working hard, giving freely to help others and always caring at the expense of self. He will live on in our hearts and the acts of his family. Memorial Service will be held Saturday morning 9:00 am, November 4, 2006, at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, 211 Trinity Place, West Palm Beach.
