Brother Steve Ellis and Brother Joe Lott will officiate at the services with interment to follow in the Longview Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the arrangements.
Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 24, 2016 at the Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Shannon McQueen, Benjie McQueen, Brandon McQueen, Ian Bussman, Ben Bussman, Derek Knight, Colby McQueen, Brandon Dickinson, Landry McQueen, Caden McQueen, and Issac McQueen.
Mrs. McQueen was born on August 16, 1921 in Covington County, Mississippi. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Mrs. McQueen retired from the Movie Star Manufacturing Plant and Stevens Sportswear after fifteen years of service. She was a member of the Station Creek Missionary Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, J.I. Pickering and Cora Johnson Pickering; her husband, James Winfred McQueen; one daughter, Jerry Ann McQueen; and a host of sisters, and brothers.
Survivors include two daughters, Karen McQuuen of Collins, and Vicki McQueen Bussman of Wayne Pennsylvania; three sons, David McQueen and his wife, Cheryl of Collins, Ikey McQueen and his wife, Alicia of Seminary, and Joe McQueen and his wife, Lana of Collins; fourteen grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family members.
