Services for LaRue Guthals, 81, will be held at 2p.m. Wednesday at Immanuel Lutheran Church. The Rev. Scott Blazed will officiate.

Burial will follow at Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens, Steed-Todd Funeral Home is handling arrangements.

Guthals was born March 14, 1911, in Braymer, Mo. She died Sunday, March 29, 1992, in Clovis.

She had been a resident of Clovis since 1946. She had worked for JCPenney and Montgomery Ward. She served as a pink lady with the Clovis High Plains Auxiliary for 19 years and was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church.

Survivors include her husband, John; two sons, John Herman Guthals, Albuquerque, and Eugene Guthals, Clovis, one daugher, Marcia Faye Leavell, Texico; six sisters, Note Tripp, Edna Rotler, Mickey Galbraith and Beth Ann Tripp, all of Kansas City, Mo,, Cloe Bryant, Hopefield, Calif, and Ruth Lauver, Topeka, Kan.; and seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Casket bearers will be Willie Dannheim, Richard Shomo, LaVern Metzger, Gene Curtis, James Pruit and Frank Gendreau.

Memorials may be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church.
