Ruth M. Lauver

Ruth M. Lauver, 81, Topeka, died Saturday, Feb. 1, 1997, at home.
She was born July 21, 1915, in Braymer, Mo., the daughter of Charles A. and Ella Pauline Holder Tripp, and attended schools in Braymer, Mo. She had been employed at Lake City Arsenal in Lake City, Mo. She lived in Topeka since 1945.
She was a member of Town and Country Christian church and the Crystal Ball Dance Club.

She was married to Jean D. Lauver July 24, 1943, in Fort Knox, Ky. They owned and operated High Plains Gun Shop in Topeka. He survives.
Other survivors include a son, Jean D. Lauver Jr., Topeka; a daughter, Sharon K. Prosser, Manhattan; a sister, Jeanette Galbraith, Kansas City, Mo.; six grandchildren and a great grandchild.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery. Mrs. Lauver will lie in state after 8 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home where relatives and friends will meet from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday.
Memorial contributions may be made to Town and Country Christian Church, 4925 W. 29th, 66614.
