Robert Glenn Crutchfield; age 95, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Saturday January 28, 2023, in Covington, Louisiana. He was born in Jackson, Tennessee and lived most of his life in St. Tammany Parish, Louisiana.
Robert was in the US Army and a member of the American Legion in Covington, LA (Post 16). He was a teacher at Mandeville High School. Robert owned his own business "Sign Services" in Covington, Louisiana.
Robert enjoyed woodworking and was very passionate about sports and watching his favorite teams play, especially Tulane and the Saints. Robert was loved by all who new him and will be deeply missed. Loving husband to the late Geneva Marie Crutchfield for 50 years. Devoted father of Robert George Crutchfield (Brenda) and Frank Edward Crutchfield. Beloved brother of Rowena Mestayer and Daniel Crutchfield.
Robert was predeceased by his parents Lottie Overton and John Edgar Crutchfield, and siblings, John "Eddie" and David Crutchfield. Robert is survived by many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends, were invited to attend the memorial service on Tuesday February 7, 2023, at the Serenity Funeral Home, 20419 Hwy 36 in Covington, Louisiana 70433.
