Ray "Sonny" Clark, 88, of Clear Spring, MD, passed away Monday, April 17, 2023 at Doey's House in Hagerstown, MD.
Born April 13, 1935, in Clear Spring, MD, he was the son of the late Lloyd Edward Clark and Thelma Blanche (Robinson) Clark.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife, A. Geneva (Shank) Clark, in 2010.
Sonny was a 1953 graduate of Clear Spring High School and a lifelong member of Salem Reformed Church in Hagerstown.
He was a farmer of Mountain Brook Farm in Clear Spring and in previous years, was the store keeper for the Dry Run Store in Clear Spring.
Sonny was a member of the Maryland Farm Bureau. He was an avid ping pong player and enjoyed supporting the Clear Spring Band program for many years.
Sonny is survived by his children, Melinda Galvin (Dennis), Eddie Clark (Annette), and Sandy Repp (Joe); 9 grandchildren, Renee, Amanda, Caitlin, Mandy, J.D., McKenna, Devin, Aaron, and Rachel; and 10 great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents and wife, Sonny was preceded in death by a son, Keith Clark; a sister, Faye Burkett; and a brother, Pastor Bill Clark.
