A GENEVA CLARK, 74, of Clear Spring, passed away Sunday, Nov 14, 2010 at Washington County Hospital.

Born Feb 2, 1936 in Hagerstown, Md, she was the daughter of the late William Ivan Shank and Mary Hannah Beckley Shank.

She was a lifetime member of Salem Reformed Church of Hagerstown, where she served as past secretary and treasurer. She was a Sunday School teacher, youth group adviser, superintendent of the children's department, and a pianist. She enjoyed making homemade noodles for the church festivals.

She was co-owner of Mountain Brook Farms of Clear Spring, and the secretary of the farm bureau.

Geneva was a 1954 graduate of Hagerstown High School, and received her AA degree from Hagerstown Business College. She was a 4-H All-Star.

She is survived by her husband, Ray "Sonny" Clark, Clear Spring. They would have celebrated their 54th anniversary on Nov 21, 2010. She is also survived by daughters, Mindy Galvin and husband, Dennis, Hagerstown; and Sandy Repp and husband, Joey, Clear Spring; sons, Eddie Clark and wife, Annette, Mercersburg; and Keith Clark, Clear Spring; a brother, John Shank, Hagerstown; 9 grandchildren and 2 great-grandsons; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services on Thursday, Nov 18, 2010, at 11 am at Salem Reformed Church, the Rev Steve Wagoner officiating. Burial in adjoining church cemetery.
