Funeral services for Effie O. Crabb, 86, will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, Mar 25, 1999 at Resthaven Memory Gardens in Oklahoma City, OK. Visitation will be Wednesday from 6-7 p.m.. at Resthaven Funeral Home. Dr. Douglas W. Crabb, a grandson, and Rev. Mike Barnett, a local pastor, will officiate. Born Oct. 10, 1912, to Jesse and Helen Garrison, in Tushka, OK. she died Mar 21, 1999 in Irving, Tx. Mrs. Eaton spent many years in the Wilson area and then moved to Oklahoma City before retiring to Lake Texhoma. She later moved back to Oklahoma City and then moved to Grand Prairie, Tx., where she lived until her death. She married Fred W. Crabb in Wilson, Ok. on Jan. 4, 1928. To this union there were born four sons; Jack D. Crabb, Douglas O. Crabb, W. Wayne Crabb, and Cary Lynn Crabb. She married E.O. Eaton in Weatherford, Tx. on Dec 26, 1958. Mrs. Eaton was active in Baptist churches through much of her life. Her parents, two brothers, Denver Garrison and Dean Garrison, and a sister, Merdia Young, preceded her in death. Her son, Cary Lynn Crabb, her husband, E.O. Eaton, and her husband, Fred W. Crabb, also preceded her in death. She is survived by four sisters, Alva Crabb, Fort Worth, Tx., Lois Jenkins, Upland, CA., Beatrice Garrison, Hemmet, CA., and Marie Penrod, Natural Dam, AR. She is also survived by three sons, Jack D. Crabb, Grand Prairie, Tx., Douglas O. Crabb, Oklahoma City, OK., and W. Wayne Crabb, Oklahoma City, Ok; seven grandchildren, Jana Lambe, Douglas W. Crabb, Doyle Crabb, Cynthia Drummond, Vicki Walcsak, Cathy Thacker, and Valerie House; fourteen great grandchildren; two step-daughters, Betty Bennight and Velma McKinney; and one stepson, Elvin V. Eaton, as well as a host of friends and neighbors.
