“Joseph L. Jessop Jr. --- Funeral services for Joseph Lyman Jessop Jr., 25, former Salt Lake resident killed November 2 while logging at the Johnson mill in the Kaibab forest near Jacob’s lake, were conducted November 4 at Short Creek, according to word received in Salt Lake City Wednesday.

“Burial also was in Short Creek.

“An active member of the LDS church, Mr. Jessop recently established his home at Short Creek, Ariz., moving from Salt Lake City. He was born at Millville, Cache county, in 1918.”
