ASPERS FARMER DIES TUESDAY

Edgar N. Hartman, 71, Retired, Expires After Lingering Illness

Edgar N. Hartman, 71, a retired farmer, died at his home in Aspers at 5:35 o'clock, Tuesday evening, after a lingering illness of complications. Mr. Hartman was injured when pinned under an automobile on May 24, 1924, and had been in ill health since then.

Surviving are his widow, the former Miss Annie (Rice) Hartman; one daughter, Mrs. Arthur Cook, Aspers; three sons, Earl P. Hartman, Philadelphia, E. Mark Hartman, Biglerville R. 2, and Paul R. Hartman, Mt. Pleasant R. 1; two brothers, Harvey Hartman, Florida; George Hartman, Biglerville; one sister, Mrs. Annie Lady, Arendtsville, and by ten grandchildren.

Brief funeral services at the Hartman home, Thursday afternoon at 1 o'clock, with further services at the Aspers Lutheran church, of which the deceased was a member, the Rev. O. D. Coble officiating. Interment at Arendtsville.

Edgar N. Hartman, 71, a retired farmer, died at his home in Aspers at 5:35 o'clock, Tuesday evening, after a lingering illness of complications. Mr. Hartman was injured when pinned under an automobile on May 24, 1924, and had been in ill health since then.
