From flammfh.com:
Ronald Dean Fife, 80, of Parker, returned to his Heavenly Father on January 11, 2022 at his home surrounded by his family.
Ron was born April 17, 1941 to Aaron Clauvasa Fife and Jessie Juanita Miller in their family home in Menan. He was raised on the family farm caring for animals and doing chores, which developed his good work ethic throughout his life. He attended elementary school in a two-story sandstone school in Menan, then junior high at Midway and graduated from Rigby High School. He was active in his youth, playing sports, fishing, hunting and working on the farm. After graduating high school, he decided to take a break from farming and joined the Air Force. He served for six years. He also worked in the drug manufacturing industry and retired in the plumbing and heating industry.
Ron was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter- Day Saints. He served in a variety of church callings throughout his lifetime. He enjoyed serving his community. He helped build a church house for branch members in Texas. He was the Mayor of Parker, too. He loved to serve others with a willing heart and a helping hand.
His greatest blessings and joy were his family. He cherished his relationships with his children and grandchildren. He wasn't always able to attend all of the family activities secondary to health but he was always there to encourage, love and support them. He treasured the family picnics, campouts and just time to visit either in-person on by phone. He taught us the importance of food storage and being prepared for any disaster. He taught us the power of prayer, to love Jesus, to be honest, love and serve others. Dad wrote," My life has been full of blessings beyond measure and I'm so grateful to my Father in Heaven and his son, Jesus Christ. I hope my life is a testament to them." He will be greatly missed by us all.
He is survived by his wife, Sheila Mason Fife; daughters, Laree Nichole Bennett (Jason) Steffler, Jessica Fife (Rhett)Wolfensberger, and son, Charles Ryan Fife; ex-wife, Josephine Lynn Oram; daughter, Julie Ann Fife Black (Stan) Reinwald, Travis Ron (Tammi) Fife, Jason Lynn (Tiffany)Fife, and Wesley Scott (Kistin)Fife; ex-wife, Sheila Hanson; daughter, Dawna Marie Pries Fife(Charles) Hubbard, and son, Kurt Alan Fife Pries; sisters, Glenda Kidwell, Karen (Tom) Jensen; brothers, Darwin (Marilyn) Fife and Paul (Cheryl) Fife and all his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded by death by his parents, sisters, Colleen Gneiting, Eldora Miller and brothers, Aaron Fife, Kenneth Fife, Roy Fife, and DuWayne Fife.
Family will host a Gathering of Friends and Family on Friday, January 14 at the Parker, Idaho LDS Church from 6-8pm.
A Memorial Service will be held later in the Spring to honor his wishes for all his children to be present.
