Jeff K Quillin was the son of Edgar Riley and Mary Magdeline Helms Quillin. Married Arabella McRae on Nov 22, 1892. he was a member of the Woodmen of the World (DUM TACot Clarnt) He helped publish his father's newspaper until he became Postmaster of Clayton, Barbour County Alabama under Democratic administration, His daughter Kate worked with him and then succeeded him under the Republican Administration before Civil Service.
Mr. Quillin was 62 years old and leaves a widow, Mrs. Belle Quillin and the folowing children; Dell Quillin, Macon GA., Mrs M R (Maggie) Jones, Montgomery, AL, Miss Kate Quillin, Clayton, Fred Quillin, Birmingham, AL, Misses Lucy, Martha, Helen Quillin and Edgar Quillin of Clayton, AL.
Services conducted by Rev. C W Morton Murray of Eufaula; pall bearers: R. L. Petty, G A Zorn, C C Scheffer, H M Fenn, C C Clark and J H Scroggins.
