Lucille Baker Leverette

SHREVEPORT - Graveside services will be held for Mrs. Lucille Baker Leverette, 90, of Shreveport, at 11a.m. Friday, October 11 at Forest Park Cemetery under the direction of Osborn Funeral Home. The Rev. Tommy Weems, of Salem Baptist Church in Stonewall, La., will officiate.

Mrs. Leverette died Wednesday October 9, 1985, at Virginia Hall Nursing Home after a long illness. She was preceded in death by her husband, Archie D. Leverette. She was a native of Webster Parish, La. and had been a resident of Shreveport since 1918. She was a charter member of Broadmoor Baptist Church and had been a member of Lakeshore Baptist Church for the past twenty years.

She is survived by two sons, James D. Leverette of Shreveport and Charles R. Leverette of Stonewall, La.; one daughter, Mrs. R.E. McLaughlin of Shreveport; two granddaughters, Mrs. O.C. Hester of Shreveport and Mrs. R.B. Cline of Tomball, Texas; three great-grandchildren, Amy E. Hester, Deron Hester and Camille Cline.

Pallbearers: O.C. Hester, R.B. Cline, A.D. Cupp, Mike Work, Bruce Robertson and P.J. Loftus.

Family requests, in lieu of flowers, that memorials be made to Shrine Hospital, Caddo School for Exceptional Children or charity of donor's choice.
