Mrs. Pauline Krohn, 61, of 1503 Cass street, died at 3:15 o'clock Monday afternoon at St. Joseph's hospital. Born in Philadelphia, Pa., Mrs. Krohn had lived in Fort Wayne for 42 years. She was a member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran church and the Mission society of that church. Surviving are the husband, William Krohn; five sisters, Mrs. William Klomp and Miss Anna Schmidt of this city; Mrs. William Schramm of Kenosha, Wis.; Mrs. Henry Bohne of Mendon, Mich., and Mrs. Helene Carver of Dallas, Tex. and one brother, William Schmidt of Richmond.

Mrs. Pauline Louise Krohn, Services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the home, 1503 Cass street, Rev. E. J. Boerger officiating. Burial will be in St. John's Lutheran cemetery.

She is the daughter of Frederick and Katherine (Wurms) Schmidt.

She married, William Krohn 9-12-1861 - 9-23-1938. There were no children born from this marriage.

Pauline and William, lived on the North-West corner of 4th and Cass. The dining room had a hand painted ceiling of angels. A cousin of his, who also served as their housekeeper, was his heir.

Pauline and William are buried toward the back of the cemetery and up the hill, next to William's parents, Luise Krohn 1836 - 1921, Henry Krohn 1835 - 1865.
