William Krohn, 77, died of apoplexy at 6:07 o'clock Friday night at his home at 1503 Cass street, following an illness of several years. A life-long resident of this city, he was engaged in the delicatessen business and later was a realtor. He retired 20 years ago. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church. A half-brother Fred Fredericks of this city, survives. The body was removed to the Klaehn & Sons' funeral home and will be returned to the residence late this afternoon. Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the residence. Rev. E.J. Boerger officiating. Burial will be in St. John's Lutheran cemetery. Friends are asked to omit flowers.

William Krohn is the son of Luise and Henry Krohn.

William married, Pauline Louise Schmidt. There were no children from this marriage.

Pauline and William, lived on the North-West corner of 4th and Cass. The dining room had a hand painted ceiling of angels. A cousin of his, who also served as their housekeeper, was his heir.

William and Pauline are buried toward the back of the cemetery and up the hill next to William's parents Luise and Henry Krohn.
