Ina Giles Coffey Morris, 90, of Oneida, died Sunday, March 2, 1997, at the Scott County Hospital. Born in Scott County on August 26, 1906, she was the daughter of the late John and Henrietta Blevins Coffey. She was of the Baptist faith and was a retired school teacher, having taught in the Scott County school system for many years. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Francis Morris; four sisters: Agnes Mays, Jenny Newport, Dutch Litton and Bess Goodin; and six brothers: Bud, Woodrow, Fred, John, Luther and Bob Coffey. She is survived by a sister, Christine Davis of Cincinnati, Ohio, and many nieces, nephews and other relatives. Funeral services were conducted Tuesday in the chapel of Jones & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Philip Kazee officiating. Special music was provided by George Hensley.
