Annie Barran Sauers, 81, of Huntsville passed away Saturday. Annie Barran Sauers was born Sept. 11, 1926, in Lawrence County to James Elias Barran and Classie Edward Crow. She retired from BellSouth Telephone Co. in Huntsville. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William Sauers; and one sister, Elizabeth Barran Guzzo. She is survived by her sisters, Joann Barran Davis and husband Joe of Athens, and Birdie Barran Battles of Decatur; and brothers, Winfred Barran and wife Rosie of Athens, and Wendell Barran and wife Minne of Athens.
