Chelan - Carl Edward Pitman, 87, of Chelan, died Thursday, Aug. 1, 2002, at Regency Manor Care Center of age related causes.
Services will be Friday, Aug. 9, 2002, 2 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Chelan. Interment will follow at Fraternal Cemetery. Visitation was Thursday, Aug. 8, 2002, at Precht Rose Chapel.
Carl was born Aug. 4, 1914, at Rigby, ID, the son of Sidney and Nellie (Gough) Pitman.
He was married to Rosella Sillivan on Sept. 4, 1934, at Boise, ID. She preceded him in death in 1993. They lived in Seattle from 1941 to 1993. Carl owned his own television store in Seattle and retired from the University of Washington as a Sr. Electronics Technician.
Carl was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served as a missionary. He also served as an officiator in the Seattle Temple.
He is survived by a son, Ron Pitman, Los Gatos, CA; a daughter, Sandi Hill, Eugene, OR; five sisters; seven grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.
Services are under the direction of Precht Rose Chapel, Chelan.
