Anna Bley, daughter of Benjamin and Jacobina Bley, was born on a farm in Hayes County, Palisade, Nebraska, on December 10, 1901. She moved with her parents and family to Hitchcock County, north of Stratton, Nebr. in 1917 and lived there until she was taken to the hospital. Following a long period of illness, she died, Thursday, August 21, 1969 at the Hitchcock County Hospital, at the age of 67 years, 8 months and 11 days.

She had been a member of the Eden Missionary Church for many years. Anna was a person who dearly loved her home life and found much pleasure caring for her pets.

She leaves to mourn her departure, one sister, Bertina of Stratton, three brothers, Louie of Stratton, Jacob of Wauneta, Adolph of Fort Wayne, Ind., and several nieces and nephews.
