Chelan, Aug. 18 – Funeral services for Mrs. Ada Doty, 56, were held at the Methodist church Wednesday.
Ada Lucy Shipton was born in Braidwood, Illinois, on Dec. 12, 1882. On Dec. 25, 1912, she was married to James M. Doty. They made their home here in 1914. Mr. Doty passed away in Aug. 1935 and a son and daughter died in infancy.
Mrs. Doty passed away Monday morning following a long illness. She is survived by one son, Mack (Junior) Doty, three sisters, Mrs. Thomas Ward, Mrs. John Brooks, Mrs. Cora Foote of Bonners Ferry, and one brother, W. T. Shipton.
