LEON – Helen Louise Casto, 82, of Leon, passed away June 23, 2011 at her home following an extended illness.
She was born June 8, 1929 in Dry Branch, WV, a daughter of the late Harvey Anderson and Ella (Stanley) Wilson. Her son Roger Lee Casto, and a brother, Dave Michael Wilson also preceded her in death.
She retired from the kitchen at Cedar Lakes, was a member of the Creston Church and she enjoyed reading.
Survivors include her husband of 63 years, Wilbert Dexter Casto; sons, Dexter Harvey Casto of Lexington, OH, and Oda Ray Casto of Duncan, OK; grandchildren, Dexter William Casto, Diane L. Casto, Thomas Casto, and Jeffrey Stehle; great grandchildren, Larissa Stehle and Megan Stehle; brothers, Harvey Wilson, Jr. of Vienna, Robert Wilson of Dunbar, Henry Wilson of Leon, and Douglas Wilson of Ripley; sister, Alice Wilson of Palm Bay, FL.
Service will be 1 p.m. Monday, June 27, 2011 at Casto Funeral Home, Evans, WV with the Rev. Steve Sayre officiating. Burial will follow in the Mount Tabor Cemetery, Leon. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Sunday, at the funeral home.
