Douglas Wayne Wilson, 81, of Ripley, WV, passed away November 26, 2023 at his home following an extended illness.

He was born June 4, 1942, in Cabin Creek, WV, a son of the late Harvey Anderson and Ella Reba (Stanley) Wilson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers Henry, Harvey, David and Robert Wilson; sister, Helen Casto.

He was a United States Air Force veteran. He was retired with 40 plus years of service from Constellium, Ravenswood, WV and was a member of the United Steelworkers Union Local # 5668, Ravenswood. He enjoyed model trains and airplanes.

Survivors include his son Douglas Wayne Wilson II and his wife Gina of Ripley, WV; daughter Cheryl Lynn (Mike) Donohew of Evans.; sister Alice Simms of Melbourne, FL; two grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Service arrangements are pending and will be announced in the upcoming days. Burial will be in Mount Tabor Church Cemetery, Leon, WV. Arrangements pending at Casto Funeral Home, Evans, WV.
