He was born June 4, 1942, in Cabin Creek, WV, a son of the late Harvey Anderson and Ella Reba (Stanley) Wilson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers Henry, Harvey, David and Robert Wilson; sister, Helen Casto.
He was a United States Air Force veteran. He was retired with 40 plus years of service from Constellium, Ravenswood, WV and was a member of the United Steelworkers Union Local # 5668, Ravenswood. He enjoyed model trains and airplanes.
Survivors include his son Douglas Wayne Wilson II and his wife Gina of Ripley, WV; daughter Cheryl Lynn (Mike) Donohew of Evans.; sister Alice Simms of Melbourne, FL; two grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
