Robert Ray Wilson, 69, of Dunbar, WV, passed away suddenly on September 25, 2017, in Cancun, Mexico, while vacationing with family.
He was born April 24, 1948, in Ripley, WV, the son of the late Harvey Anderson and Ella (Stanley) Wilson. His brothers, Dave Michael Wilson, Harvey Wilson, Jr. and a sister, Helen Louise Casto also preceded him in death.
Bobby was a United States Coast Guard veteran and was retired from the maintenance department at West Virginia State University. He enjoyed traveling throughout the United States and Europe and was a Baptist by faith.
Survivors include his brothers, Henry Wilson of Leon, and Douglas Wilson of Ripley; sister, Alice Wilson of Palm Bay, FL, and several nieces and nephews.
Service will be 7 p.m. Friday, October 6, 2017, at Casto Funeral Home Chapel, Evans, WV, with Elmer Miller officiating. Private interment will be Mt. Tabor Cemetery, Leon, WV.
