Bonnie Belle Francy, 78, Garden City, died Jan. 28, 2008, at her home in Garden City.
She was born Jan. 8, 1930, near Garden City, the daughter of Edgar Leroy and Hilda Odessa (Hunt) Breeden.
Aug. 28, 1948, she married Delbert Lee Francy in Garden City.
Mrs. Francy was a homemaker. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Garden City, and was a lifelong area resident. She enjoyed her family, family get-togethers, her grandchildren and flowers. She was always concerned about the welfare of others. She was kind and thoughtful and enjoyed caring for the animals on the farm.
Preceding her in death were her parents; a son, Larry Francy; a daughter, Saundra Conner; her brother, Richard Breeden; and her sister, Georgia Wainwright.
Surviving are her husband, Delbert L. Francy, of the home; a son, Leroy Francy and his companion, Tammy Wheeldon, Kingsville; two daughters, Wanda Engelhardt and husband, Rick, Chilhowee, Carolyn Kenagy and husband, Delbert, Garden City; a sister, Geneva Schrock, Garden City; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.
Honorary casket bearers were Jesse Conner, Rick Engelhardt, Leroy Francy and Tim Vassar.
Casket bearers were Russell Conner, Shaun Conner, Dan Engelhardt, Delbert Kenagy, Matt Turner and Preston Vassar.
Services were Feb. 1 at the Dickey Funeral Home, Garden City, with Bro. Mark Lopez officiating. Music was provided by Lois Wainwright and Jim Jennings, soloists, and Helen Kenney, pianist.
Burial was in the Garden City Cemetery, Garden City, were under the direction of the Dickey Funeral Home, Garden City.
