Leroy was employed as a truck driver for Old Mill Feed and Grain, Lee's Summit, Missouri. Earlier he had been employed with the Cass County Road and Bridge Department and John Deere.Daniel was from Kingsville, Mo. Leroy enjoyed watching professional wrestling, hunting, spending time with friends and family, especially his grandchildren and driving around town to compare people's gardens.
Besides his mother, he was preceded in death by a brother, Larry Francy and a sister, Saundra Conner.
Leroy is survived by his companion, a daughter, a step-daughter, two step-grandchildren, his father, two sisters, other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at 2 p.m. at Dickey Funeral Home, Garden City, Missouri with Rev. John McRoy officiating.
Music was "Daddy's Hands", "One Day at a Time" and "go Rest High on That Mountain".
