Carolyn Sue Kenagy of Garden City, Missouri was born October 9, 1952 in Clinton, MO the daughter of Delbert and Bonnie (Breeden) Francy. She departed this life Saturday, August 10, 2019 at her home in Garden City at the age of 66 years, 10 months, and 1 day.

On October 19, 1974, Carolyn was united in marriage to Delbert David Kenagy for 44 years at the Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church in Harrisonville, MO.

Carolyn enjoyed babysitting and working at the Dairy Dine in Garden City, Missouri in her teenage years. She worked at Rival Manufacturing where she met her husband Delbert. Following, she became a homemaker where she took care of her four beautiful daughters.

Carolyn was a lifelong area resident of Garden City, Missouri. She loved spending quality time with her daughters and grandkids. She really enjoyed her rose garden and yard decorations. In her spare time, she loved to play bingo and never missed watching her Kansas City Royals play. Carolyn also loved to go to garage sales and to the Ameristar Casino. She loved our family dinners and get togethers, playing cards with the grandkids was a joy. Carolyn enjoyed making her famous pies that everyone loved. Family and friends meant everything to her. She always put everyone before herself.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Larry Francy, Leroy Francy, and her sister Saundra Conner.

She is survived by her husband, Delbert D. Kenagy of the home; four daughters, Kristi Wilkerson and wife, Rolanda, Harrisonville, Missouri,Kimberly Turner and husband, Matthew, Harrisonville, Missouri, Stacy Hankins and husband, Jerry, Rich Hill, Missouri, Jennifer Elwell and husband, Bobby, Racket, Missouri; seven grandsons, Brandon, Dalton, Kaden, Manny, Julian, Nicolai, and Ethan, one granddaughter, Kaylee; sister, Wanda Engelhardt and husband Rick,Chilhowee, Missouri,other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m., Thursday, August 15, 2019 at the Dickey Funeral Home, Garden City, Missouri with burial in the Garden City Cemetery, Garden City, Missouri.
