Died Friday, Jan. 31, 1992, at her residence in Columbia. She was 85, a native of Gloster, Miss., and longtime resident of New Orleans.

Visiting at Riser Funeral Home, Columbia, noon to memorial services at 2 p.m. Sunday. Graveside services at Gloster Cemetery, Gloster, Miss., at 2 p.m. Monday.

Survived by a brother, Dr. Wren M. Causey Sr., Columbia; two sisters, Mrs. Claire C. Davis, Baton Rouge, and Mrs. Laura A. Lewis, Crossville, Tenn.; three generations of nieces; and nephews.

Preceded in death by parents, Robert M. [sic D.] and Sadie Nunnery Causey; and three brothers, John Davis, Bobby and Clarence Causey.

She was a graduate of MSCW, received R.N. Certificate from Touro Infirmary, and earned Masters of Science in Nursing from Columbia University. She was former director of Nursing for City of New Orleans and executive director of Louisiana State Nurses Association for 25 years.
