Heyward E. Anderson Sr., 85, died Nov. 1 at St. Joseph's Hospital.

The Bulloch County native was a longtime resident of Savannah. He was a member of Cuyler Hunting and Fishing Club and Morningside Baptist Church. He retired from Union Camp Corp. after 36 years.

SURVIVORS: sons, Heyward E. Anderson Jr. of Rincon and Nicholas B. Anderson of Richmond Hill; daughters, Brenda Faye Sutton of Savannah and Sherrie Jill Lanier of Richmond Hill; brothers, Jack Anderson of Ludowici and L.M. Anderson of Savannah; sisters, Franceska Sanders and Gloria Cirincione, both of Savannah and Faye Hill of Statesboro; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

VISITATION: 6-8 p.m. today at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel.

FUNERAL: 2 p.m. Sunday at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel, burial in Hillcrest Abbey Memorial Park.

REMEMBRANCES: Morningside Baptist Church.
