Anna E. Tourgee, 89, of Mulhearn Drive, Coventry, RI, passed away on Wednesday, July 13, 2022, at Kent Hospital, Warwick, RI. Born on November 17, 1932, in Coventry, RI, she was the daughter of the late George E. and Christiebelle (Northup) Tourgee.

Anna was an assembler for Garland Pen, Coventry, RI, for many years. She also worked for various lace mills before retiring in 1982. She enjoyed word search books and puzzles.

Anna is survived by a niece; Jean Salvas and her husband Peter, who were her caregivers and great nieces; Miranda and Roxanne who she enjoyed spending time with. She also had several other nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by six brothers; Edward Tourgee, Niles Tourgee, Harold Tourgee, Robert Tourgee, Irving Tourgee and George Tourgee, three sisters; Florence Smith, Winetka Leveillee and Betty Ann Bates.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 15, 2022, at 10:00 am in the Gorton-Menard Funeral Home & Crematory, 721 Washington Street, Coventry, RI. A visitation will be held one hour prior from 9:00 am to 10:00 am. Burial will be in the Woodland Cemetery, Coventry, RI.
