Keith & Velma left Tabiona early in their marriage and lived in Salt Lake City for a couple of years, then Keith's employment took them to Rangely, Colorado where they raised their family. In the mid 1980's they moved to West Valley, Utah where she lived until poor health required her move to Elk Meadows Assisted Living Center in Oakley.
She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, serving as a Relief Society President twice, Stake Young Women's President, Golden Girls advisor and more. She will be remembered as a world class seamstress and her collection of material, thread & patterns challenged any major fabric store. She was an excellent cook and loved setting a beautiful table & feeding the masses. She also loved Jazz basketball & a good laugh!
She is proceeded in death by her daughter Gaylene, her husband Keith and siblings Crystal, LaVar, Loren, and Dale. The family wishes to thank the many wonderful friends Velma has had over her lifetime as well as extended family for their love and support, and the professionals helping her at Elk Meadows. Your loving care & concern is much appreciated.
