Martha YORK is the daughter of John YORK Sr. and his wife Martha Jane WHITE. Martha, age 18, married Alfred Daniel TROGDON, age 18, on 23 March 1830 in Randolph County, North Carolina. They were the parents of three children in Randolph County before joining a Wagon Train in 1836 traveling north into Edgar County, Illinois.
