A housewife, Phyllis formerly worked as a sales representative for Florida Tile and also previously worked at Union Underwear and Universal Fasteners. She was a member of the Fox Creek Christian Church and most recently attended Freedom Baptist Church. She enjoyed her family and hosting family meals.
Phyllis is survived by her four sons, Steve (Judy) Cornish of Lawrenceburg, Keith (Janet) Cornish of Marion County, Harold Wayne (Trish) Cornish and David Cornish, both of Lawrenceburg; 8 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren. Along with her husband she was preceded in death by a daughter, Rita Marlene Cornish, and three sisters, Doris Jean Drury, Maxine Nethery, and Margaret Nation.
Visitation will be 11 – 1 Wednesday, May 4th followed by the service beginning at 1:00 PM at the Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home. Bro. Steve Wells will officiate the service. Burial will follow in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery.
