Maxine Nethery, 84, of Mount Eden, died Friday, June 10, 2011 at Signature Health Care of Spencer County.
Born in Anderson County, she was the daughter of the late Bertie Rose and Mary Blanche Hawkins Webb. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl J. Nethery; her sister, Margaret Nation and two grandchildren, Robert Allen Nethery and Stacie Gayle Nethery.
Survivors include her sons, Mike Nethery of Mount Eden and Bert Allen Nethery of Waddy; daughter, Carlene Cook of Taylorsville; sisters, Jean Drury and Phyllis Cornish both of Lawrenceburg.
Funeral services for will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Briar Ridge Christian with Brother Lonnie McNabb and Brother Eugene Neyhart officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation was Sunday at Hall-Taylor Funeral Home and after 10 a.m. Monday at the church.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Briar Ridge Christian Church.
