Isabelle Parker Leggett was the daughter of William B and Margaret Ann Haley Parker. She was born Dec 14 1857 in Brown County, IL and died Oct 3 1934 in Englewood, CO.

Between 1870 and 1880 the Parkers left Brown County, IL and ended up in Jefferson Twp, Linn Co, MO.

Belle married W Franklin Leggett on Mar 18 1877 in Linn Co, MO. They had four children: Fredrick, James William "Will", Alexander "Elec", and Franklin.

Frank died May 5 1885 in Cameron, DeKalb Co, MO. Family tradition was that WB Parker decided to move his family to Kansas and Belle and her three older boys packed up to go with WB. Supposedly Franklin was born and died in route to Kansas, although his death record is from DeKalb County the same as his father's.

Belle and the Parkers settled in Ohio Twp, Sedgwick Co, KS. Belle went to work in Wichita and her father and brother raised her three boys.

She had a brief marriage to Charles A Frakes of Hutchison, KS on Jan 31 1887.

In her old age she joined her middle son, Will, in Colorado and moved all of her stuff on the train to Englewood, living there with Will and Hazel until she passed away.
