Fredrick Leggett was the son of W Franklin and Isabelle Parker Leggett. He was born Apr 5 1878 in Linn Co, MO and died Nov 1 1969 in Conway Sps, KS.

Fred had a brief marriage to Stella May Finley. They married Sep 23 1901 in Sedgwick County, KS. He then married Rachel Anna Money May 23 1907 in Wichita, Sedgwick, KS.

Fred and Rachel had two children: Birdean and Orville Gordon. Fred was a farmer and worked land in Ohio and Waco Twps, Sedgwick County. During the 1920's he worked land in Grant Co, OK and then returned to the Clearwater area. After he retired, he and Rachel moved into Wellington.

FRED LEGGETT "WELLINGTON, Kan. - Services for Fred Leggett, 91, retired Clarkson Aircraft employe, will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in Webb Mortuary, Clearwater. He died Saturday.
Born in Linn County, Mo., he came to Wellington in 1949 from Clearwater.
Survivors include his widow, Rachel, and a daughter, Mrs. Birdean Hinshaw, Denver."
