She taught school in Webster, Iowa and the rural schools around Webster, Iowa. She was a
member of the Methodist Church for over 70 years and also a 50 year member of the Eastern Star. She also served as the superintendent of Sunday School and a member of Woman's club. Ada (Morgan) Sturdevant, age 82, of Webster, Iowa passed away on Wednesday; June 2, 1971 at the Mercy
Hospital in Iowa city; Johnson County, Iowa. She had been in failing health since 1956. Those left to mourn her passing are: Her husband: Ernest Sturdevant. Her one daughter: Mrs. Helen Walk of South
English; Keokuk County, Iowa. Her one son: Max M. Sturdevant of Solon; Johnson County, Iowa. Her five grandchildren, two great grandchildren and three sisters: Mrs. Blanche Snakenberg, Mrs. Noel Montz of Webster, Iowa and Mrs. Grace Yoakam of Sigourney; Keokuk County, Iowa.
