She graduated from Sigourney high school in Sigourney; Keokuk County, Iowa. She married Wayne Yoakam on Thursday; December 25, 1913 at Webster, Iowa. They lived in Webster for three
years and then farmed near Hedrick; Keokuk County, Iowa until 1946 when they returned to Webster, Iowa. Mr. Yoakam passed away on Monday; April 15, 1968. Grace had been residing at the Manor House Nursing Home in Sigourney since 1967. Grace E. (Morgan) Yoakam, age 77, passed away on Sunday; June 25, 1972 at the Keokuk county hospital in Sigourney, Iowa. Those left to mourn her passing are: Her one son: Donald of Hedrick, Iowa and her one daughter: Mrs.
Lyle (Mildred) Mugge of Sutherland; O'Brien County, Iowa and her six grandchildren. Grace was preceded in death by her parents, her husband: Wayne, her two sisters: Mrs. Blanche Snakenberg, Mrs. Ada Sturdevant and her two brothers,
