RATLIFF CITY -- Services for Exie C. Barnett Jr., 50, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the United Pentecostal Church with the Rev. Bill Nordmayer officiating. Interment will be at Ratliff City Cemetery under the direction of Reser Funeral Home.

Barnett died June 9, 1999 at his home after a sudden illness. He was born Dec. 27, 1948, at Duncan.

Reared in the Pruitt City area, he married Rhonda Joy Everett there April 21, 1967 and worked for several oil field companies, including Nub's Well Service. He lived in Snider, Texas from 1974-78 then moved back to the Pruitt City area. He was a member of United Pentecostal Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Cindy Thompson, Healdton, and Melissa Jordan, Ratliff City; his mother, Gladys Perkins, Lone Grove; three sisters, Rita Fowler, Tishomingo, Virginia Dorson and Barbara Smart, Lone Grove; two brothers, Danny, Fox, and Derrell, Salina; and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife April 30, 1995; and his father, Exie Barnett Sr. Oct. 14, 1977.

Bearers will be Butch Harris, Aaron Pulis, Robin Jordan, Randy Moss, Bill Webb and Rob Thompson.
