Max proudly served his country in the US Air force from 1955-1957. On June 7, 1958, he married the love of his life, JoAnn McCloud. They shared 63 wonderful years together.
Max was a devoted member of St. Simon Catholic church for more than 60 years. He had a very strong faith and loved being involved in church activities. He was also a valued member of Knights of Columbus #5290 and the American Legion Post 495.
Max was a hardworking, loving gentleman. an Indianapolis native, he was a huge Colt's fan. Family meant everything to Max, and he loved cheering for his children and grandchildren at all their sporting events. He never missed a game. In his free time, Max was a dedicated volunteer for Meals on Wheels. He was an adoring husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him.
Max leaves behind his wife, JoAnn; sons, Jeff (LeAnn) Baldridge and Bruce (Laura) Baldridge; grandchildren, Rylee, Krissy, Megan, Nick and Hannah; great grandchildren, Christopher, Faith, Gracelynn and Serenity; his brother-in-law Donald McCloud and many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his siblings.
Visitation for Max will be Saturday April 2, 2022 at Flanner Buchanan-Washington Park East from 11 am to 1 pm. His mass will begin at 1 pm. He will be laid to rest at Our Lady of Peace Cemetery, Indianapolis.
