MRS. MARY CUPP PASSES AWAY
Mrs. Mary Cupp, aged 71 years, 9 months and 24 days, passed away at her home in east La Plata, Sunday morning, after a lingering illness.
Funeral services were held at Mt. Olive Church, Monday afternoon, after which the remains were laid to rest in Mt. Olive Cemetery.
Mrs. Cupp was the last of twelve children to pass away and she was the mother of twelve children, five of whom have preceded her to the great beyond.
The surviving members of the family are Mrs. Rachel Francis, Mrs. C.O. Francis, and Mrs. Frank Thompson, all of La Plata, Mrs. Jack Bradford of Shelby County, Mrs. Everett Shearer of Kirksville, Mrs. Alfred Ayers and Will Cupp, also of La Plata.
