BENJAMIN WATSON McCLELLAN

Benjamin Watson McClellan, 88, of 4528 Cemetery Road, Route 2, Eaton, Ohio, died late Monday evening at Reid Memorial Hospital in Richmond, Ind., after a brief illness.

A native of Preble County, he had lived here most of his life and was a retired farmer.

Survivors include one sister, Blanche White of Spokane, Washington; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at the convenience of the family at Barnes Funeral Home-Eaton Chapel. There will be no public calling.

Ben was quite a character; he was a loner and never married. He wanted his ashes scattered on the McClellan home farm where he grew up north of Eaton on Cemetery Road.
