George, age 69, formerly of New Hope, and now residing in Farmersville, died suddenly Friday following a heart attack.
He served his country during World War I as a 2nd Lieutenant in the National Army 1917-1919; he had retired as a teacher in Oakwood Schools near Dayton.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Katherine (Slough) McClellan, whom he married Sept. 7, 1934; one son, James Allen McClellan; and one grandchild.
My note: 1st marriage was to Leona Shriver Aug. 1, 1922 in Preble County, Ohio.
