Kenneth Ray "Head" Cole September 12, 1950 - January 26, 2022
Kenneth Ray "Head" Cole, 71, of 204 11th Street, Gaffney, S.C. passed away on Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at Spartanburg Medical Center.
Born in Gaffney, he was the husband of Brenda Goodge Cole and son of the late W. C. "Fat" Cole and Thelma Workman Cole.
He retired from construction and of the Baptist faith. He loved his family, bass fishing, hunting and sports, especially football, baseball and racing.
Surviving in addition to his wife is a daughter, Angela Dawn Cole of the home; two sisters, Barbara Sue Rochester (David) and Marsha Cole, both of Gaffney; two grandchildren, Seth Cole and Skyler Cole; numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Willard Cole, Sam Cole, Ralph Cole and Danny Wayne Cole.
Memorial services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 29, 2022 in the Blakely Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Jack Phillips officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the residence, 204 11th Street, Gaffney, S.C. 29340.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Gaffney High School, "Fishing Team", 149 Twin Lake Road, Gaffney, S.C. 29341.
